PURE COCONUT OIL

Coconut oil is obtained by cold-pressing the dried coconut pulp. At room temperature, coconut oil has a solid, butter-like consistency. At temperatures above 20°C, it becomes liquid.

This is important for its storage and use: in summer, it can be stored in a bottle and drawn off with a dropper. In winter, we recommend placing it in a bain-marie or transferring it to a larger, sterilized, lidded container, then drawing it out with a spoon.

In cosmetics, coconut oil makes skin more beautiful, supple and soft. It is also excellent as a make-up remover for the face, or as a moisturizer after a shower.

Baldness Mix coconut oil with essential oils of lavender, rosemary, thyme and cedarwood. Apply three times a day (or before going to bed) to the area affected by hair loss and massage in gently. Coconut oil and essential oils promote cell regeneration and help control sebum secretion from the scalp, one of the main causes of dandruff.

Make-up remover Use a cotton pad and apply a small amount of coconut oil to remove make-up.

Stretch marks This oil is ideal for cleansing and nourishing damaged skin. Although not a definitive remedy, it is an effective aid against stretch marks.

Solar screen Although it doesn't offer high protection, coconut oil can be compared to a level 4 sunscreen.

Antiseptic Coconut oil: Applied to scratches and cuts, coconut oil forms a thin protective layer that helps accelerate healing by repairing damaged tissue.

Insect bites Coconut oil can relieve the itching and burning sensation of insect bites, while speeding up the healing process.
