Home Fragrance Reed Diffuser “Cooperativa Profumieri” – Mystic Ylang

The yellow flower of the islands

Ylang-ylang grows on the islands of the Indian Ocean; its yellow petals give a creamy, sunny, slightly fruity essence that you recognise from the very first breath. Mystic Ylang makes it the main character. Around it, Cooperativa Profumieri has placed other white and coloured flowers to compose a generous bouquet that never becomes cloying.

A sea breeze to open

The fragrance starts with lively bergamot and so-called ozonic notes, which recall the fresh air of the seaside after a shower. Then the heart opens: jasmine, rose, orchid and lavender surround the ylang-ylang, while clove and tonka bean add warmth. The vanilla and musk base keeps an amber softness that lingers in the room. This three-stage construction makes the fragrance feel alive: it does not smell quite the same in the morning, when the air is cool, as in the evening, when the room has warmed up. That is what makes it pleasant to live with over time.

Which rooms

Its floral freshness makes it a good companion for a bedroom, a bathroom or a walk-in wardrobe, wherever you want a clean, welcoming smell. In a sunlit living room it brings back memories of sunny holidays, even in the middle of November. It also appeals to people who love white-flower perfumes and are looking for a matching home scent.

Choosing your bottle

Three sizes: 100 ml (13.2 cm high, 10.7 cm wide), 200 ml (15.5 × 12.86 cm) and 500 ml (19.52 × 16.39 cm). The bigger the bottle, the larger the room can be. The 3 ml sample is for testing the scent at home. To revive the diffusion, turn the reeds once or twice a week, and change them with our replacement reeds when they no longer diffuse.
